GTA V sells £500 million worth of copies in just 24 hours

Theft Auto 5 has sold £500 million worth of copies in just one day,
according to its developer.
After being dubbed one of the most eagerly anticipated game releases
ever, GTA hit the shelves on Tuesday. In many stores across the
country including South Africa, fans actually queued from midnight to
get their hands on a copy. I heard one of the fans got stabbed and
robbed of the game after buying it ,Not ayoba!

It has now been confirmed that sales totalled around $800 million or
£496 million and the game cost around £170 million to make and market
- which is more than the
film Avatar cost. Online retailer Amazon sold out of the game
on pre-orders alone. Now experts are estimating it could generate £1
billion during its first year on
sale, with gamers predicted to snap up some 25 million copies -
breaking current records.

Strauss Zelnick, chairman and CEO of Take- Two, said: "All of us at
Take-Two are thrilled with the initial response to Grand Theft Auto V.
"Once again, the team at Rockstar Games have outdone themselves,
setting the
entertainment industry's new standard for creativity, innovation and
excellence. "Beginning at midnight on Monday, consumers around the
world gathered in
anticipation to be among the first to experience the evolution of this
remarkable series."
The Grand Theft Auto series has
accumulated sales of 135 million copies since its 1997 debut.
GTA IV has reportedly sold more than 25 million copies since its 2008
release. The new game has received rave reviews
from critics across the board, including The Mirror, who have labelled
it "one of the very
best video games ever made"

Keza MacDonald, games editor at IGN.com, said: "Grand Theft Auto V
represents a refinement of everything that GTA IV
brought to the table five years ago. "It's technically more
accomplished in every conceivable way, but it's also tremendously
ambitious in its own right.
"No other world in video games comes close to this in size or scope,
and there is sharp
intelligence behind its sense of humour and gift for mayhem."

"Control" not only is it

Kendrick's verse, where he raps about being the "king of
New York." Fans were quick to react to his bid to steal the attention
away from the biggest names in the rap community, and i have collected
all their best quotes. — Fans React Kendrick, raps the most notable
verse in the song, where he calls out all other rappers and tells them
to step up their game: "I'm usually homeboys with the same n****s i'm
rhymin wit/But this is hip hop and them n****s should know what time
it is/And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T,

"If I can't do no more nouns or verbs ima start comin with the wildest

9 Tips To Get Your Music Heard On The Net

As you know im on a mission to encourage more artists to get their
work on the net, durban is packed with talent and the world needs to
hear it ,so i've came up with 9 tips to help us do just that,Let's Go

1. Register your band info to as many websites as
possible. This means post your biography, mp3s, videos, photos, etc.
to MySpace, Facebook, last.fm, Soundclick,
Reverbnation,YouTube,soundcloud,kasimp3,mp3twit,blogspot, etc. The
more sites you sign up for,the
better the chances you have of people coming across your music when searching
for your name.

2. Jump on new websites as soon as they launch. You'll never know how
big the website is gonna get plus you can always delete your account
on that website if you're not satisfied with it

3. Leave comments on blogs, forums and other social networking
communities.Use the same username,
email and website link for all of them. Leave actual feedback, not just
your links, which brings us
to the next big tip…

4.Don't spam groups,chat rooms, blogs,etc. By just
randomly posting links to your website you risk losing
credibility – but more
importantly, you are just going to come across as annoying and unprofessional.

5. Create a single avatar to use on all of your accounts. Use this
image on Facebook, MySpace,
Twitter, Gravatar, etc.
Companies spend millions of rands and years of research establishing brand
recognition, and strive to stay consistent with that
image. You should take their lead and do the same
– the more familiar people are with your image, the more likely they
are to spread the word and return
to your pages.

6. Stay humble. Ask for feedback, and appreciate it.
Follow up with feedback for
others. If you are posting your music to be reviewed,
be grateful to the reviewers, no matter how horrible
their comments may be. Nothing will turn people off of your music quicker than
having an attitude, or being defensive. If you act like everything is
done for the passion and love, potential fans will be less critical,
and
will relate to you more.unless you really are making kak music
lol, anyway Giving others feedback is a
good idea too, as it shows you aren't selfish and are
looking to help others too.Remember you're not a celeb yet, that buzz
will run out as soon as the heat you getting from that collabo track
you riding on dies down.

7. Constantly post new
music. Regularly rotate a few tracks out, so that the
same music isn't collecting dust on your pages. If
somebody notices that you have had the same five
songs on your page for a few months, they lose the incentive to keep coming
back. Remember, even if you have music that's old to you, 99.99% of
the internet hasn't heard it yet .wich brings us to the next tip
8.Add people on your facebook profile ,follow people on
twitter,instaGram,Myspace,Reverbnation etc..you can't meet new people
with out looking for them, only celebs wait for fans to come to
them, you're not a celeb, so you approach people, who knows in that 10
you approach a day mayb three will like your music and those are the
people you should focus on.

9 Collaborate regularly with other artists. An unfortunate aspect of
hip-hop music is that the sense of collaboration for the sake of fun
and music isn't as
strong as it should be,we have too many Celeb wannabes, people only
work with kats they know, that won't get you nowhere, you need to step
away from that mentality and work with as many other people
as possible (yes, that means for free sometimes), you are only helping
establish yourself as an open-minded and hard working musician. The
results may not be award-winning, but at the very least it's great
practice.

LET'S DROP THE EGOS AND PUSH FOR THE BETTER FUTURE ,031/SA HIP HOP NGYAPHAKAMISA

GOD OF WAR :ASCENSION (REVIEWS)

These are just reviews i picked up on the net from other gaming sites, enjoy

* Destructoid (90/100 ): " God of War has never looked or played
better than this. Kratos has never been as deep or interesting as
this. They've set the bar so high that I have no idea how they'll be
able to follow this one up. Sony Santa Monica should be proud. Series
fans should be proud."

*. Gamespot (80/100 ):
"The single-player is where you should spend your time. No, it doesn't
quite reach the audacious and rage-filled moments of God of War:

*GamesRadar (70/100 ):
"Also somewhat disappointing are the newly added multiplayer features,
which are held up by clever level design and strong game modes, but
smacked down by uninteresting gameplay. It sounds great in theory, but
in practice it turns out there's nothing less fun than being beat up
by someoneas powerful as Kratos."

*. VideoGamer (70/100) :
"The multiplayer component is as fresh as the single-player is
familiar. Ask yourself what you're after from a God of War game: if
you desire only to step into the boots of gaming's mostbrutish, then
you may find Ascension wanting. If, however, you're open to the idea of
taking on the mantle of anotherSpartan hero, you'll find it a
limb-lopping, head-popping delight.

CBS NEWS

Review: God of War AscensionMarch 12, 2013With the initial build up
for "Godof War Ascension" centered onmultiplayer, series veterans
beganto fear that the grandiose singleplayer would be a thing of
thepast. Those fears can be put torest. Kratos' latest epic journey
isjust as compelling, heart-pumpingand bloody as his five
previoustales. The combat -- the franchise'sbread and butter -- has
neverbeen so visceral and developerSony Santa Monica has added
anadditional layer of depth to thetried and true Blades of Chaos.Add
to that a multiplayer that isunlike anything currently out there.

*. Edge (70/100 ):

"Consider our expectations defied: this is the star of the show. While
this series' singleplayer template is showing its age, there's plenty
in Ascension's multiplayer that deserves to survive the transition to
PS4."

FB GROUPS AND LINKS

I've been getting alot of requests from people on facebook and twitter
to continue blogging, because my shit makes sense sometimes lol anyway
yeah, im back into blogging

Today i feel like talking about Facebook links notifications. Have you
noticed how annoying they are? Look i don't have a problem with kats
trying to hustle for downloads but i do have a problem when they're
being dumb and stupid during the process.

Yaz khona into abangayinaki when they're posting links on facebook
,It's not about how many groups you can bombard with the same link, its
about using your fucking brain and realise that you're posting the
damn links to the same fucking people ,excuse my language ukuth
iyangbasela lento nami, the only difference between these group pages
are the names, the people inside the 1st group are the same people on
the next page you're thinking of posting on.
And to tell you the truth these groups aren't that effective when it
comes to hustle for downloads. Some of these sites they upload music
from have nothing else to offer for the artist,it just downloads and
that's not right, unless you're not serious about your music/online
presence .

Notorious B.I.G. Autopsy Report (The Day a Legend was Hit)

It has been 16 years since rapper Christopher Wallace,a.k.a The
Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, was gunned down and killed in Los
Angeles. Now with a newly leaked autopsy report, shockingly graphic
details of the legendary rapper's unsolved murder have finally been
revealed.

Christopher Wallace sustained
gunshot wounds to his chest,
shoulder, leg, forearm and
scrotum on the night he was
murdered in L.A. back in 1997 ...
this according to the never-
before-seen autopsy report obtained by TMZ last year. The report
confirms Wallace -- who was
listed at 6'1", 395 lbs -- was
struck a total of 4 times in a
drive-by shooting on Wilshire
Blvd while the 24-year-old rapper
sat in the passenger seat of a
Chevy Suburban. According to the
report, 3 of the shots were NOT
fatal. -- Gunshot #1 struck
Wallace in the left forearm and
traveled down to his wrist. --
Gunshot #2 struck Wallace in the
back, missed all vital organs, and
exited through his left shoulder.
-- Gunshot #3 struck Wallace on
his outer left thigh and exited
through his inner left thigh. The
reports says ... after Gunshot #3
exited the thigh, "the projectile
strikes the left side of the
scrotum, causing a very shallow,
3/8 inch linear laceration."The
fatal bullet was Gunshot #4 ...
which entered Wallace's body
through his right hip and ripped
its way through several vital
organs ... before coming to rest
in his left shoulder area.
According to the report, the
bullet perforated Wallace's colon,
liver, heart and the upper lobe of
his left lung. Immediately after
the shooting Wallace was rushed
to Cedars-Sinai Hospital -- where
doctors performed an
emergency thoracotomy ... but it
was too late. Wallace was
pronounced dead at 1:15 AM.
According to the report, all 4 of
the gunshots traveled through
the Suburban passenger door
before striking Wallace. Two of
the bullets were found on the
gurney that transported Wallace
to the hospital. Another bullet
was discovered at the hospital
when the body was turned over
after doctors had pronounced
him dead. During the autopsy,
the coroner listed Wallace as
"morbidly obese." A toxicology
test revealed Wallace had no
traces of drugs or alcohol in his
system at the time of his death.
Wallace's body was eventually
ID'd by his mother and wife. One
last thing ... on one of the pages
of the autopsy report, there is a
note scribbled under the
headline "Other Pertinent
Information" which reads:
"Decedent may be rap
singer."Wallace was 24.
According to E! News. The
ammunition used to kill Wallace
was a "very rare" Geco 9mm, only
manufactured in Germany. The
FBI also discovered the New York
rapper had ties to the Genovese
crime family.
