The Street Is Talking About #SAHottestMCs

So yesterday #MTVbase dropped the #SAHottestMCs and twitter went nuts,some were happy about the list and some were not,I myself was happy with the list ,it's 2014 for pit sake people need to get with the program, plus this is the commercial list,no need to get all worked up about it, but I do have some questions though. why Duncan Skuva and iFani are not in that list?

Look, im not going to say much about the list ,but I am going to say this, only four rappers on that list deserve the title "MC" the rest are just rappers nje, but having said that we can't deny the fact that these guys have put #SAhiphop where it's never been before ,radio stations are play listing more than four local kats now because of these guys,Tv ads have more local music playing at the background, because of these guys,kids are more proud to recite zulu/tswana/sotho lyrics because of these guys. Not everyone is going to be happy ,So i took the liberty of collecting comments from both facebook and twitter so you can see what people really think about this list..

- You have not listen to lyrical content of AKA boy. Its on Point, which says a lot about your not so A-game point on Hip-hop. You must be schooled son. The Quality of Cassper sucks maybe he will improve next album. Look I don't hate the guy and love what he has done for South african hi-hop but quality sucks, cox I won't listen to Doc shebelaz next year. He must make good music not bubble gum bang bang. Look run Jozi godly you can listen to it anytime or even next year. AKA quality is on point.

Zahara came with a bang on her first
album and went Luke warm after that.
So we'll see if the so called Cassper will

- KO is the best MC ,Nyovest
lyrically not the best but he makes
good music and his sales got him up
there, Aka had a great year but his
persona and the sales of Levels put him there, but I still feel he is the best in SA Hip-hop overall he has the accollades to prove it!! Rappers should not take this personal ita just a list it does not define
them.
